Northwest Plains is proud to host a seminar on Creative Worship on Saturday, November 21, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm at the Westview campus of Cridersville UMC, 105 Shawnee Rd., Cridersville.

If you’ve ever seen an excruciating PowerPoint presentation in worship then you know that for many churches new media has nothing to do with new energy and creativity in worship. Just jumping on the digi-bandwagon does not necessarily create in-stant congregational renewal. That’s because there’s a big differ-ence between technology and culture. We’re still operating out of old, text-based mindsets when the world around us, and even our own congregations, has learned to live and think in image.
The real story in worship now is not the use of screens, but how screens and other forms of media come together to create pow-erful God experiences. Our newly redesigned seminar invites you to come explore what happens next with our latest thinking on culture, art, teams and technology.
