Heifer Project

The North Union County United Methodist Cooperative is a group of United Methodist congregations partnering in ministry. Each fall, these congregations join together at the North Union County Fairground for a Fall Festival supporting Heifer Project International. A fun afternoon of games, food, music, and fellowship is provided as everyone raises money to buy animals to share with those in need around the world. Cakes in the shape of the animals are auctioned off and children of all ages can spend time enjoying animals brought in from nearby farms.

The afternoon event provides valuable animals for God's children in other parts of the world and a benefit for many years to come. It also provides a wonderful opportunity for neighbors to join together with other United Methodist friends in this part of the county. We have now raised over $24,000 in the past four years to aid Heifer International, Please make plans to join us in good fun for a great cause.
